Leadership Training/Mentorship/Peer Education
Youth leadership training has been one of the major pragmatic strategies in which IWAYEC uses to develop young people in communities. This has helped them become more focused on what they really want to achieve and also in setting their goals in life. Youths are mentored by their role models personally, while peer education has been the driving tool of the programme. IWAYEC leadership programmes have seen a drastic improvement in its young initial beneficiaries. It is a programme that helps to shape behaviour, attitude and choices toward becoming accountable and effective leaders in the society. The Leadership Training/Mentorship/Peer Education Programme has graduated over 600 youths since it started.
