IWAYEC in giving to the community offers widow and orphans support schemes that provides shelter, food, clothing and other essential items to widows and orphans. It also runs orphan education projects that supports orphans with school fees and school kits, the project is supported by donations from individuals and other organizations, international and national. IWAYEC organizes workshops and seminars for orphan care-givers and guardians. Amid terrorism in the northeast Nigeria, orphans and vulnerable children have been at the centre of IWAYEC’s activities with a focus to protect and provide for the children.
